Throughout its history, Errington Lake Lodge has been managed by just a few owner-operators. The cabin was originally constructed in the 1950s. In the early 1960s, mineral exploration drilling occurred approximately two miles east of the Lodge, near Naegle Creek; however, no significant findings were made. Additionally, in the mid-1970s, a depth survey of the lake was conducted as part of a research initiative focused on lake trout.
The property eventually came into the hands of a group of folks from Nipawin, Carrot River, and Arborfield. Around 2005, they enhanced the place by adding a water heater and a shower room for some nice hot running water.
Then, in about 2010, it found its way to Rob Gilmour, an entrepreneur from Kindersley. Rob made some great upgrades, including building a storage shed, framing a second cabin, installing a new firepit, and bringing in a 16-foot boat with a 4-stroke motor. He also made plenty of other improvements to make it even better!
