For your comfort while enjoying time on the lake, we recommend dressing in layers. Start with cotton undershirts and add long-sleeved thermals that can be easily removed or added as needed. Insulated garments and standard fishing outfits will work well, but it may also be wise to pack rain gear. If you happen to forget yours, we do have extra rain jackets available for your convenience.

At the Lodge, we provide some fishing rods, reels and tackle for your convenience. However, if you find that you need additional gear before your trip, feel free to visit nearby stores such as Ruby's, Canadian Tire, or local gas stations to purchase any items you might require.

Make sure to bring your camera, as you'll encounter stunning landscapes and wildlife, along with your prized catches. It's also wise to pack sunscreen and insect repellent. Be sure to bring all your personal care items and any necessary medications. By mid-June, the water temperatures are typically warm enough for swimming, so consider including your swimsuit in your gear. Lastly, remember to take your sunglasses!
